Many people find that they have about thirty seconds from the time they wake up feeling pretty good until they get hit in the chest with a lot of anxious thoughts and feelings. One reason why this happens is that during sleep we often process difficult emotions and physical issues. As we come up out of sleep, whether we remember our dreams or not, we are still in a state of extra sensitivity, which is why waking emotions may feel intense. While initially distressing, this waking moment of angst is a very productive time to do healing work on yourself. Do this by placing your hands on your heart chakra and sending energy to your core while instructing yourself to heal the cause of the angst. As you do so, you may get an intuitive sense of what the source is. If you can remember any part of your dreams, or if you wake with a phrase or song on your mind, this may also give you a clue as to the cause. If you know how to do muscle testing or pendulum dowsing, you may further determine the source and focus your healing accordingly.
After this initial healing upon waking, I think it is important to make time each morning to do a visualization that helps you to manage your subtle energy and set positive intentions for your day. After I have healed any waking angst, I generally get myself a cup of tea, then settle into a comfortable chair, and do a full energy tune-up. I do this every morning because if I don’t, I often feel out of sorts and my day goes poorly. Plus, if I do consciously set my intentions for the day, I believe that when something goes wrong with my plans for the day, it is really meant to be and I can flow with it, learning as I go why the negative seeming incident may have happened to help me achieve my goals.
To do an energy tune-up, start by sending energy from your hands through your heart chakra into the central core of the body. Increase the energy by generating positive thoughts in your mind and corresponding emotions as you focus on the things you love. When you become familiar with Reiki symbols, place the symbols on yourself in the Reiki Willow configuration for maximum effectiveness. Continue sending energy to your core while focusing on healing and energizing the many layers and aspects of your being.
What follows is my personal daily energy tune-up to help guide you through the layers. As you read it through, pay attention to the wording. Nothing here is random. For example, saying something as simple as “I am grateful to be in the body experiencing life on Earth today,” is an important tool for fighting infections and diseases like cancer. This is because many diseases come into our bodies in response to our despair of ever having a happy life. It is as though the disease is trying to help us decompose sooner to put us out of our misery!
Therefore, speak the meditation aloud, or firmly speak it in your head, knowing that the cells of your body are listening, as well as all the bacteria, yeast, viruses and fungus that inhabit the planet that is you. They may do what you say. If you despair and think, “I don’t want to be here anymore,” your cells and flora and fauna may try to help you achieve that goal. If you say, “I celebrate the time I have to dwell in the body that is me,” they may try to support you in your efforts to do that. So, focus on each phrase and speak it firmly. The purpose of each phrase and section will become clear as you experience energetic releases and your felt understanding of energy work deepens.
General Energy-Tune Up and Intention Setting
Stating My Intention
“I state my intention to fulfill my life’s purpose in loving and abundant ways. I accept the honor and responsibility of being a co-creator on Earth. I release resistance to my own and other’s healing and happiness. I choose to use my energy for loving purposes and appreciate this precious time I have to dwell in the body that is Me. I acknowledge that Earth is a place where inexperienced co-creators have free will. I release worry, fear, and a desire to control what others do with their free will. I choose to focus on using my free will to create what I want to experience on Earth and enjoy my precious life today.
Restoring Communication with Myself
“I place loving boundaries and healing energy around any trauma areas in my soul, brain, body and spirit to keep these places safely contained until a time when I may give them attention. With these trauma areas lovingly contained, I instruct myself to release compartmentalization, dissociation, and false facades. I state my intention to restore connection and good energetic flow between all parts and all levels of my being. I instruct myself to restore calm communication, peaceful functioning and goodwill within myself. I invite all parts of myself to communicate and cooperate fairly with each other.”
“I instruct my brain and body to use calm functioning patterns to deal with most situations that I encounter in modern life and to engage in survival response patterns only when faced with an actual, physical, survival situation. I instruct myself to release hyper-vigilant activities and pull my sensing and scanning energy generating from my minor chakras back towards myself. I make a deal with myself that I will only engage in intense sensing and scanning activities when I need to receive information for my well-being. I instruct my brain and body to restore to normal, peaceful levels the following activities: monitoring, sensing (self), mirroring (others) and transmuting.”
Creating Energetic Shielding
“I set over, under, and about myself, on all levels, a bubble of light like an energetic skin allowing me to interact with the world and other beings safely without taking on their stuff or dumping mine. I create energetic boundaries between me and others, between me and negative energies, between me and distressing memories, thoughts and emotions.
Tuning, Harmonizing and Resonating with Love
“I tune, harmonize and connect all layers of my being with love and state my intention to connect to others through love. I connect to the collective timing and co-creating of the creation. I accept what is and ask for gentle life lessons. I invite loving communication that may inform me of anything I need to know in order to resonate with love and to fulfill my life’s purpose in graceful, loving and abundant ways. I state my intention to listen and respond to messages expressed to me by my soul, physical body, energetic body, emotions, mind, spirit, other loving beings, the creation, and love itself. I am grateful to be in this body experiencing life on Earth today!”
Take a moment to think about some things for which you are grateful. As you start your day, have a sense of “game on,” playfulness, and curiosity about what will happen today.
Fixing Specific Energetic Issues
The initial, one-page, basic, energy tune-up presented above may be all that you need to get your energy moving in a healthy way. If you are short on time, you may wish to use the rest of the tune-up like a check-list to test how your energy is doing and then fix just that which is out of whack. For example, if you regularly clear the energy in your home, you may not need to clear the space around you now. Or if you just took a yoga class, your chakras are likely doing fine so you may not need to spend any time on the chakra section. To determine where you need to focus, use a pendulum or muscle testing to check what areas need attention. If you find that your energy is so out of whack that you are unable to douse or muscle test yourself properly, proceed by going through each section until you can douse or muscle test. Usually, once you have gotten through number four on the check-list, your dousing or muscle testing ability will come back.
The energy check-list repeats some material from the initial, one-page, basic, energy tune-up, and then goes into more depth around that material. That is not to say that the basic tune-up is not as effective. It can be. Sometimes a simple statement and a little Reiki is all that is needed to do some deep healing. However, depth of focus may also be important. Sometimes healing may not happen without a clear understanding of the cause or precise placement of energy on a wound. This is what the energy check-list is for. If you have done the one-page tune-up and you still feel off somehow, use the energy check-list to help you track down what is troubling you.
What follows is a list of everything I know to look for when someone is doing poorly. The first page addresses the kinds of energetic issues that happen during a major energetic crisis like PTSD or a panic attack. The second page contains a few things that may cause you to be unable to douse properly. If you are having trouble dousing, go through each item and see if you can douse after completing it. In this way, you can discover what the energetic issue was even without having been able to test for it originally. Generally after the first two pages, you should be able to douse. The rest of the energy checklist is organized by the auric plains or layers of a person: physical-body, energetic-double, emotional auric plain, mental auric plain, and spiritual auric plain.
In order to create a comprehensive organization of all the material, some items are repeated. For example, throughout the tune-up I offer shielding suggestions so that you may immediately protect the healing work that you have just done from an active intrusion. However, there is a section specifically on shielding at the end as well. Also, all that is covered in the short, one-page tune-up is repeated here in individual sections for easy dousing identification.
The very first item has to do with polarization, which is when the magnetic direction of the body’s energy flips upside down. This happens if you are telling yourself a lie about something major. To right your energy, turn the false belief around. For example, many people flip their polarization when they think something like: “I am unloved.” To right your energy, identify where you are lying to yourself and tell yourself the truth, “I am loved,” while sending energy from your hands through your heart chakra to your core.
Energy Check-list
1. Polarization:
“I release negative thinking, distortions and lies that cause me to flip my energetic polarization. I release a resistance to what is. I align myself and my magnetic field with love and truth restoring proper energetic polarization. I release a resistance to what is.”
2. Resistance to Healing and Personal Power:
“I send healing energy to the core of my being to release psychological reversals that hinder my own healing. I state my intention to accept my ability to do intuitive energy work. I give myself permission to gently and safely share secrets I am keeping that would help me heal and embrace my power and perception as a loving, co-creative being.”
3. Pranic Core:
I set the intention to untwist and heal my pranic core, the container of my core and my energetic field.” As I focus on things all that I love, I send loving energy to my core and envision it growing warmer and brighter, untwisted and whole as I sing or chant a song focusing on love. Here is an example:
To do this, you will need to increase the flow of energy by focusing on things that you love and sending loving energy to your pranic core. Some healers see the pranic core as a column of white like stretching from the head down through the torso and sometimes extending to the feet. Envision this column growing warmer, brighter, untwisted and whole while you send energy to it through your heart chakra. It helps if you sing or chant a song focusing on love. Here is one that I use:
Love, love, love, love, (your name), this is your call,
Love your neighbor and yourself for Love loves all.”
4. Energetic Weapons (Hateful/Destructive Thought Forms):
“I ask compassionate spirits to help me remove energetic weapons in my auric field. I envision loving hands removing all weapons lodged in me and dissolving them or encapsulating them and sending them through the “white door” as is best for this circumstance. I send love and light to heal the areas of my field where I was hurt.”
5. Personal Energetic Field:
“As I focus on things that I love, I send loving energy through my heart chakra to my pranic core. I envision love and light emanating out from the center of my being, heating up the area around me, and healing cracks in my energetic field.”
Again, you will need to raise energy for this one. So, use active imagining and singing to help you as described in #3 above.
6. Negative Energetic Patterns, Thought Fields and Thought Forms:
“As I focus on things that I love, I send loving energy through my heart chakra to my pranic core. I envision love and light emanating out from the center of my being, clearing away negative energy, patterns, thought forms and thought fields that I or others have created that might hinder our ability to create and live a loving and abundant life.”
7. Containing Trauma and Restoring Peaceful Processing:
“I envision placing loving boundaries of golden light around trauma thought fields that are arising in me. With these trauma areas lovingly contained, I instruct myself to restore connection between the right and left hemispheres of my brain, my right and left sides of my body, and my yin and yang. As I note the safe environment around me, I instruct myself to restore calm functioning and return to my parasympathetic nervous system.”
8. The Space and Energy around You:
“I envision emanating healing energy out from the core of my being to dissolve negative or deceptive energy within and about me. I connect myself to the real world and envision love and light dissolving mine or other’s false realities. I place Reiki symbols in the area about me to create shielding around this place. I place Reiki symbols close about me to create a small area of clean, protective energy around me that goes with me, acting as an energetic buffer wherever I go. I release energetic intensity and negative associations to this place. I release energetic blocks to the resonance of benign things about me and the elements within those things.”
9. Soul/the Eternal Essence of You:
“I give any soul parts in my auric fields that are not my own into the care of helping spirits to be moved out of my auric fields or healed and returned to their owners as is best at this time. I call my own soul parts back to me asking helping spirits to find, heal and return them when it is best for me to be reunited with them.”
10. Spirit/the Energetic Expression of Your Soul through Your Body:
“I clear others’ energy from within my being. I remove physical, energetic, emotional, mental and spiritual experiencing that is not mine and give it into the care of helping spirits to cleanse then return or dissolve as is best. I call my own experiencing (spirit parts) back to me asking helping spirit guides to find, cleanse and return them to me.
11. Energetic Intrusions:
“I release and remove any tendrilling, chording, encasements, shackles, energetic weapons, monitoring devices and other manipulative energetic intrusions generated by myself or others. I disengage from energetic patterns that compromise my boundaries.* I focus on connecting to love and accepting what IS. I set about myself an energetic shield of continuously pouring light like a waterfall that washes away all intruding energy and reflects back that which we attempt to acquire, pass-off, corrupt or control in each other. I also create a deception field around myself for persistent energetic-boundary-crossers that makes them think they have successfully compromised me though they have not.”
(*Energetic patterns that compromise boundaries are generated by negative thoughts and feelings such as fear, approval-seeking, criticism, guilt, blame, self-justification, worry, longing, jealousy, envy, and hatred.)
12. Attachments/Negative Invasive Entities/“Critters”:
“I ask compassionate spirits to help me remove, encapsulate and safely dispose of all destructive, parasitical and manipulative energetic entities and mites from within my being, and from within the beings within my being (fungus, bacteria, virus and parasites.) I claim my body and mind as the holy vessel of my soul and the resonator of my spirit. I call upon the law of “one body, one spirit” and tell any entities or negative thought forms that are attached to me or to other beings inside me to leave now as I place upon me and say the names of the Reiki symbols and chant my full name claiming my right to be Me.”
13. Auric Fields:
“I set the intention to connect and communicate with all of my auric fields: Pranic, Physical, Energetic, Emotional, Mental, and Spiritual.”
As you focus on each level of your being, ask for information about the state of each part. Note what you sense and see at each level. Ask for guidance as you envision bringing each level into good communication and harmony with itself and with each other.
Real World (rather than false, created worlds/thought fields)
Personality Thought Field

Energetic Body / Etheric Body / Pranic Body
Emotional Being / Emotional Auric Field / Lower & Upper Astral Planes
Mental Being / Mental Auric Field / Lower & Higher Mental Planes
Spiritual Being / Spiritual Auric Field / Causal Plane
14. Energetic Double/ Etheric Body:
“I envision my energetic double and send healing energy to it. I bring my energetic centerline into alignment with the centerline of my body. I untwist and align all parts of my energetic body with my physical body. If I am missing parts of my energy body, I ask compassionate spirits to help me identify, heal and restore all parts of myself to myself. I send a strong grounding cable downward connecting my lower chakras to the Earth and a strong lifting cable upward connecting my upper chakras to Source.”
15. Chakras and Meridians:
There is no one unifying theory of the chakras. Ultimately, any nerve bundle, appendage or significant part of the body could be said to have a corresponding chakra or energetic vortex in the subtle/energetic body. The study of chakras is a fascinating and continually developing theory and way of describing observable phenomena that we don’t yet understand. The first mention of the concept of chakras in history according to Wikipedia was between 1700 and 1100 BCE. Over time, different traditions have developed practices and theories associating certain colors, emotions, organs and glands with the chakras but not all traditions agree.
Modern understanding of chakras and meridians comes from many different sources. Here are the opening paragraphs of the Wikipedia discussion of the chakras:
In Sanātana/Hindu and tantric/yogic traditions and other belief systems, chakras are energy points or nodes in the subtle body. Chakras are part of the subtle body, not the physical body, and as such are the meeting points of the subtle (non-physical) energy channels, called nadiis. Nadiis are channels in the subtle body through which the life force (prana), or vital energy moves. Various scriptural texts and teachings present a different number of chakras. There are many chakras in the subtle human body according to the tantric texts, but there are seven chakras that are considered to be the most important ones. Their name derives from the Sanskrit word for “wheel” or “turning”, but in the yogic context a better translation of the word is ‘vortex or whirlpool’.
My understanding of the chakras comes from a variety of sources both traditional and modern. As a massage therapist, I was taught that most acupressure points were nerve bundles with corresponding minor chakras which when massaged in combination with Reiki energy healing released blocked energy and relaxed the muscles. My understanding of meridians or energy channels associated with the chakras comes from Traditional Chinese Medicine and the practice of acupuncture. I appreciate how Medical Intuitive Caroline Myss describes the major chakras as “computers” that house different types of information. The Hara-Line chakra system I learned through the Reiki healer Diane Stein, author of the books Essential Reiki and Psychic Healing, among many others.
To work with your chakras, you may initially wish to envision each chakra while placing your hands on it and sending “good energy,” by which I mean generating loving thoughts and feelings that cause the brain and the heart to generate a positive, helpful and calming electromagnetic resonance. A traditional visualization of a chakra is to see it as a flower in the color traditional associated with it. Envision it with two rows of petals, one spinning right (yang) and the other spinning left (yin) until it becomes a ball of energy. See the petals spinning and shining brightly with a glow of colorful light coming from it.
Another visualization of a chakra is to see it as a long tube of light emanating from the center of your body and radiating out through the layers of your auric fields. This visualization is useful for conceiving of a “twisted” chakra with a twist in the tube where it intersects with the body. Such a twist throws off the information stored in that chakra such that the person’s perception and intent becomes the opposite of what they think it is. Seeing the chakra as a tube is also helpful to envision how the gunk of years might become encrusted on it such that the full capacity of the chakra is greatly lessened.
When you work with the chakras, use active imagination in combination with these conceptual visualizations to guide your attention and intent for healing. Notice if you have trouble envisioning the color, brightness or spin of a particular chakra. This may indicate, not that you are a poor envisioner, but that the chakra is in need of healing.
Begin by placing your hands over your heart chakra. Envision white light coming down through your crown chakra. Imagine warm, juicy energy coming up from the Earth through your feet and tailbone. Imagine this energy gathering in the heart area and warming the center pranic core of your body. Speak the following intention for working with your chakras as you send yourself loving energy from your hands.
State Your Overall Intention for Your Chakras:
“I send healing with the intent to strengthen all of my chakras by replacing destroyed chakras, mending hurt ones, releasing tendrils, chords, energetic intrusions and gunk, untwisting the energy, unblocking, energizing, creating a balanced yin (left) and yang (right) spin, healing the seal around the chakra and harmonizing each chakra with love.”
To determine chakra health, use muscle testing or a pendulum placed either over the chakra, or nearby as you focus on the chakra. Ask the following questions:
Is the chakra spinning?
Is it spinning both right/yang and left/yin equally?
Is it leaking energy? (all yang)
Is it sucking energy (all yin)
Is the chakra twisted? (see lists of twists under the section on manifesting)
Is the chakra compromised by an energetic weapon?
Is it gunked up?
Is it chorded?
Is it tendrilled?
Is the chakra seal (like a gasket) leaking energy?
When you have identified an issue with a particular chakra, send healing energy from your hands to that chakra while focusing on your intention to clear that issue. For example, if a chakra is blocked, send healing energy with the intention of removing the block. If it is moving in only one direction, send healing energy and envision it moving both right and left (yin and yang.)
Major chakras:
7 Crown (purple) Top of the head
6 Brow (indigo) Between the eyebrows
5 Throat (bright blue) Base of the throat
4 Heart (green) Center of the chest
3 Solar Plexus (yellow) Stomach
2b Naval (orange yellow) Naval
2a Belly (orange) About 3 inches below the naval
1 Root (red) Pubic and Tail bone
Strengthening Your Aura:
When you have envisioned each major chakra, place your hands on your heart and envision strands of light coming off the upper (cool colored) chakras, stretching up over your head, down your back and coming through the heart to the front of your body. Then envision the cool colored strands continuing down the front of your body with strands of light from the lower chakras (warm colors) stretching down the front of your body. Now, the whole rainbow of colors goes under your feet, up the back of your body to the heart where the rainbow goes through and continues up over your head. In this way, the whole rainbow of colors makes a figure eight around the body and through the heart chakra creating an aura of iridescent white light like a shimmering egg all around you.
As you do this visualization, say the following:
“I cycle the energy of my major chakras in a figure eight from my head to my feet crossing through my heart chakra and creating a strong auric field about me.”
Hara-line Chakras:
To work with individual Hara-line chakras, place your hands over each of the following chakras while doing the flower meditation for each.
Transpersonal Point (white) A foot above the head
Eyes (silver) Eyes
Causal Body (red and gold) Bump at back of the head
Thymus (turquoise) On the breast bone between throat and heart
Diaphragm (lime green) Between heart and stomach
Hara (amber) 1½ inches below the naval
Perineum (burgundy) Lowest point on the torso
Hands (clear) Center of the palms
Knees (green) Knees
Feet (brown) Center of the feet
Earth Star (black) A foot below the feet
To cycle the Hara-line energy properly, envision white light coming down through your crown and warm, juicy energy coming up from the Earth. Imagine this energy gathering in the heart area and warming the center pranic core of your body. Speak and envision the following intention as you send yourself loving energy from your hands:
“I cycle the energy of my hara-line chakras moving it out from the hara chakra, down my legs and up again, up my back, out my arms and back in again, over my head, down my front to the hara, and again.” (Repeat this several times.)
Minor chakras:
Minor chakras seem to have a lot to do with our senses and empathic abilities. Consequently, learning how to pull them back towards yourself may help you to manage emotional and sensory overload. To work with the minor chakras, send energy from your hands through the heart chakra to your pranic core. Envision pulling your “sensors” or nerve endings back towards yourself as you say the following:
“I pull the energy of my minor chakras back towards myself and focus it on me.”
Major Meridians:
To work with the meridians, send energy to your core as before, and state the following intention for each: “I clear and reset the chakras on the _______ blank meridian, I release energetic twists and blocks to the meridian, its coupled organ and corresponding emotions, and send energy to help the meridian to move in its proper direction.”
Meridians: coupled organs, Related Emotions, Clearing Time:
Lung Meridian: large intestine, Grief, Intolerance, 3-5 am
Large Intestine Meridian: lung, Guilt, Inability to let go, 5-7 am
Stomach Meridian: spleen, Disgust, Greed, Insatiability, 7-9 am
Spleen Meridian: stomach, Worry, Anxiety, 9-11 am
Heart Meridian: small intestine, Joy, Anger, Bitter, Lack of Joy, 11am-1pm
Small Intestine Meridian: heart, Insecurity, Sadness, 1-3 pm

Kidney Meridian: urinary bladder, Fear, Indecision, 5-7 pm
Pericardium Meridian: sanjiao, Hurt, Extreme Joy, Jealousy, Regret, 7-9pm
Sanjiao Meridian: pericardium, Hopelessness, Depression, Despair, 9-11pm
Gallbladder Meridian: liver, Rage, Wrath, Indecision, Timidity, 11pm-1am
Liver Meridian: gallbladder, Anger, Unhappy, Controlling, Stress, 1-3 am
Note if you get tired or wired at a certain time of day, this may indicate that the meridian and/or organ which does its “clearing” (kind of like a computer defrag) during that time is in need of healing.
16. Yin and Yang / Masculine and Feminine Energy:
“I clear, balance, untwist, harmonize and energize my Yin, drawing energy and my Yang, seeking energy. I release dominance of one over the other and set the intention for my masculine and feminine energy to flow companionably together. I release negative and binding cultural norms around masculine and feminine traits and behavior. I state my intention to manage my own energy responsibly and not to give my energy away or try to take another’s.”
17. Restoring Energetic Flow and Communication in the Physical and Energy Body:
Use muscle testing, dousing or empathic sensing to identify areas in the body that need healing. Envision unblocking, untwisting and aligning the physical body and energy body as you envision sending love and light to the area. You may either continue to send light to your core through the heart chakra or place your hands over the area in need.

Allergies and Food Intolerances:
Use the pendulum or muscle testing to check your energy for the items on the NAET list of common allergens. Encourage the body to absorb all nutrients by saying the following:
“I am grateful for my body and for the nutrients I receive to nourish it. I instruct my body to absorb and use them well. I direct my body to identify and refuse to act upon energetic directives coming from bacteria, fungus, parasites or virus. I promise my body that I will listen to it as it communicates its needs to me through cravings, requests for rest and for attention. I promise to give my body the best nutrition and care that I can today.”
18. Co-creating:
“I state my intention to create, to draw to myself and to seek out that which I need and desire that helps me fulfill my life’s purpose while enjoying an abundant and loving life on Earth. I connect to divine timing and what IS. I release resistance to astrological forces and set the intention to interact with them such that they gently help me along my path. I set the intention to untwist and clear all my energy such that I may experience an abundant and loving life today while making the lessons I need to learn as gentle as possible.”
Take some time to ponder your “life-mirrors,” or those patterns that are currently being repeated in your life. Envision sending love and light to those situations with the intention of dissolving arising negative energetic patterns and thought fields. For clues as the source of issues that are arising, check for twists/reversals in the following areas to see if you have emerging thought fields that need to be released.

If you have twists, check the following thought field areas to see where the problems are:
Limiting Beliefs:
It is hard to manifest well if you have blocked energy around false, limiting beliefs. Use muscle testing or the pendulum to ask if you have any limiting beliefs. If you get a yes, see if you can form a phrase in your mind that expresses this belief. If you are unsure, refer to The AIT Core Belief Matrices by Asha Clinton. Once you pin down the limiting belief, ask if it is inherited and/or from a past life. Use Reiki to clear the limiting belief on all levels of your being, throughout all space and time, for you and everyone in your family tree and past lives who picked it up. Replace it with a new, helpful belief.
Stuck Emotions:
It is hard to manifest well if you have blocked energy around stuck emotions from the past that were not fully acknowledged, felt, processed and released. Stuck emotions can be inherited and passed to you from your family and/or from past lives. Use muscle testing or the pendulum to ask if you have any stuck emotions. If you get a yes, use Bradley Nelson’s Emotion Code Chart to determine what emotions you need to clear. Use Reiki to clear stuck emotions from all levels of your being, throughout all space and time, for you and everyone in your family tree and past lives who picked it up.
Physical Memory:
Sometime memories get stuck in particular parts of the body, or in our DNA. Using muscle testing or pendulum dousing, check to see if you need to release the memory of a trauma from a part of your body or your DNA. Sometimes in order to stop repeating a stuck pattern we need to release racial memory, community memory or global memory from our body’s cells and DNA.
Limiting Associations:
Sometimes our associations of certain things are so strong that no matter how many times we release a thought field, it may get triggered when we encounter the things that we associate with that thought field. An example of some limiting associations that might need to be released are as follows:
Mom and self-esteem
Dad and self-esteem
Self esteem and parenting situations
Self esteem when it comes to finances, women, men, school, work, etc.
Childhood Imprinting:
This is another area where we may have associations with our parents that are so strong we must consciously release our imprinting in order to be able to freely choose to behave differently from them. Release imprinting on one or both parents.
Family Entanglements:
Some families have patterns that bind them into certain ways of behaving like prejudice, or grudges, or pecking order. A thought like, “You’re like me,” can bind you to a family member’s energetic blocks and issues. A thought like, “We are like this,” can bind you to whole community’s blocked patterns. Look for these binding patterns on these levels:
Personal (one on one)
Relational (group)
Global (collective)
19. Interacting and Co-Creating Well with Others:
“I set the intention to transmute my energy and the energy of others that concerns me such that our energetic interacting is translated by each to enable us to communicate clearly, love each other well, and together create an abundant and loving life on Earth.”
20. Protection & Help:
Creating thought fields of protection about yourself is a good idea, but it can be difficult to do in a way that is not also limiting. For this reason I often ask my spirit helpers to be in charge of my shielding. I trust that they know best who would benefit from seeing my true nature and who would try to attack or attach to me if they could see my shine. Here are a few suggestions for statements that, when coupled with visualizations, may create effective shielding.
“I set over, under, about and within myself on all levels a bubble of light like an energetic skin allowing me to interact with the world and other beings safely without taking on their stuff or dumping mine. I create 100% good energetic boundaries between me and others, between me and invaders in my body like bacteria, fungus, parasites and virus, and also between me and upsetting experiences in my life.”
“I set a disarming field around myself, my loved ones and the business of my life that dissolves any negative or monitoring energy that others send to me or that I send to them while reflecting back our own ugliness so that we realize what we are doing and stop.”
“I invite helping spirits and compassionate beings to protect, help and guide me to create and enjoy an abundant and loving life on Earth. I give the care of cloaking and shielding all levels of my being and evidence of my existence into the care of my loving spirit guides so that they may decide how best to share my light.
“I tune and harmonize my resonance with love and state my intention to connect only through love. I invite loving communication that may inform me of anything I need to be in harmony with love and fulfill my life’s purpose in abundant and loving ways. I state my intention to listen and respond to messages expressed to me by my soul, physical body, energetic body, emotions, mind, spirit, other loving beings, the creation, and love itself.”
“I am grateful to be in this body experiencing life on Earth today!”
Take a moment to think about some things for which you are grateful. Now, take a few minutes to imagine yourself being happy, healthy and socially graceful in your life. Imagine everything flowing beautifully today with many wonderful surprises. As you start your day have a sense of “game on,” playfulness, and curiosity about what will happen today.
